Anna Bilén is the founder of Shyness. She has experience in designing and purchasing textile, working both with Swedish and international brands and companies. During those years she nurtured a dream of starting an interior design brand with high quality textiles and a specific design. In 2009 that dream came true with the launch of her company, Shyness. Shyness’ design is influenced by Anna’s childhood and her heritage originating in the Swedish farmlands. This heritage mixed with a modern design approach gives Shyness a unique style.

In 2010 Anna’s work was recognized in the interior
design press. She was nominated for and the winner of
the distinguished ELLE interior design award for her collection Sober and Serenity, in the category “Bed Product of the Year 2010”. The motivation was “timeless in design, yet modern in expression and material”.

Shyness collections are further developed to meet your expectations, based on Anna’s ideas of stylish living, in harmony with Swedish design and high quality textiles.
